Danny Kolke, Jr.
Pianist, Vocalist, Composer and Arranger
Danny grew up in a very musical family and started performing at a young age. At his first piano recital he performed an original composition. At the age of 13 he became the regular church pianist and at 14 performed with the Edmonds Community College Jazz Band. At 16 he joined the vocal Jazz choir Soundsation and began recording regularly with several groups in the Seattle music scene. At 16 Danny dropped out of high school to pursue a career in music performance. At 19 he published his last Jazz pianist project entitled, "A New Meaning" after which Danny "hung it up" for a while and stopped performing. It was a number of years later when Danny got back involved with music through local church projects.
